Texas driving test study book4/6/2024 I think someone already said this, but if you're over 18 then you can just get some driving experience and take the test. Parking lots are okay but they are very different from roads. If you live in a city have someone drive you to the suburbs. Try to drive around your neighborhood to get a feel of it before getting on any real roads. I guess what I'm saying is when your parents start to make it hell, keep going. My experience getting my license was a terrifying mess, but now that I actually have it my life has gotten like 100 times better. All I know is I apparently have to take some kind of online test you pay for, print something out? and go to the DMV and they give me a permit? I really have no idea. To them it's my fault I don't have a job or a car or anything yet despite them never offering help or giving a single shit I'm struggling.ĭad doesn't know either/not his specialty to figure out paperwork like this, same with me. Not asking my mother for sister because they're abusive, don't give a shit about me and can eat dung as far as I'm concerned. Like if someone said "what do you do to get a driving permit" Like literally " go here do this" I don't understand bigger explanations, I've tried reading google and got confused by the terms. How do I apply for a driving permit? Like give it to me in cave-man unga-bunga terms because I'm dumb as mud and literally have 0 idea what to do. Haven't driven before, want my dad to teach me(he can). Homeschooler, no GED(although I don't think this matters for a driving permit according to this Texas website). A bit too embarrassed to ask again anyways. I've already asked a good friend of mine for help, but I didn't word the question right and didn't understand her answer, and now she hasn't been online for ages now.
